Information Technology

First Division’s Information Technology (IT) experience and expertise stems from our support to Command, Control, Communications, Computers (C4) & Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) (C4ISR), bringing multiple IT elements into a single capability that is networked across all echelons and functional areas. Our knowledge and experience include the operating forces, supporting establishment, managing systems, and training personnel in order to achieve superior decision-making and enhance lethality.

Networking:

First Division runs the Networking On The Move (NOTM) Family of Systems supporting three external network enclaves: Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet), Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet), and mission-specific enclaves, through a Satellite Communication (SATCOM) network, solving much of the Disconnected, Denied, Intermittent, Limited (DDIL) bandwidth problems for fielded units.  First Division maintains access to the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) with fully compatible contractor acquired computer assets.

Software and System Integration:

First Division supports the NOTM Common Hosting Environment (CHE), providing a full suite of Tactical Software applications and Distributed Common Ground/Surface Systems – Marine Corps (DCGS-MC), comprised of servers, storage devices, network switches, and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) devices. Together, these systems provide an integrated, intelligence/information management and dissemination suite (hardware and software) capable of operating at the three MC ISR Enterprise tiers (Fixed Site, Garrison, and Expeditionary).
