FirstDiv hosted a leadership offsite from 2-3 November in Falls Church, VA. We had a great turn out. Senior Leaders, Program Managers, Deputy Program Managers, and Site Leads from Delaware, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland collaborated on how to continue to improve our company. Training events were provided on our new HR and Financial systems and FirstDiv kicked off our first annual Toys for Tots drive with a toy building event. This was a very successful offsite and we all look forward to the next one. All attendees pictured wore their favorite team colors on Day 2.

I’m happy to announce that Marc Courtney is our Employee of the Quarter for Q4 2021. Marc is a Program Analyst on our Program Manager Intelligence Systems (PM IS) contract where he supports the PM IS Identity Operations (IdOps) team.
The PM IS IdOps team’s biometrics and forensics capabilities have seen some friction over the past years with the employment of these systems. Both capabilities are a “high-demand, low-density” specialty which are force multipliers to commanders in the field. Marc’s placement was crucial to the proper coordination with personnel forward in theatre and also ensured Marines on the ground received the required support to efficiently and effectively accomplish their missions. Marc’s PM IS government lead believes his position at the United States Marine Forces, Central Command (MARCENT), in Tampa FL, provided the appropriate placement and access to the strategic and operational planning process. This due to Marc’s ability to highlight the advantages and strengths of the IdOps team’s biometrics and forensics capabilities. The work Marc had done at MARCENT has resulted in other command requests directly to the IdOps team and his chain of command for similar support forward.
Congratulations to Marc for a job well done. We greatly appreciate all of his hard work!
